On "Inside Job" by Jeff Vande Zande (1062 words) ***

This short story rocks out with a nice, clean, minimalist style. Or maybe "rock out" isn't the best verb--after all, there isn't a lot of excess here. This is a story about stripping everything down, making everything new again. A kid returns from rehab, goes to work. We watch.
